Dear comrades,
We've used a dust particle accellerator to transport ourselves to another present in order to learn about and from a capitalist reality that is still around today. We have by no means gone far, but are shocked at how different this same place can feel under such conditions.

In our present, as you know, we have for generations no longer lived under capitalism. We are trying to better understand the direct effects of capitalism on people – their daily activities, their ways of thinking and learning, their feelings, their socializations, their resistances to the way things are, etcetera. We will bring this project back to our present and share what we have learned with other interested people. Over the course of our field research so far, we have experienced much confusion around certain normalized modes of production and modes of living under capitalism. Much of it seems very violent to us and we are trying to become more knowledgeable about this in hopes to have a better grasp on the intricacies of our own past and the traumas of people we love.

We hope to talk with many people across what is known in the capitalist present as The United States of America and Canada. We display and use objects as the starting points to these conversations as we understand that the museum is a recognizable mode for this type of learning and exchange.

Our research is ongoing and subject to change at every moment. This is a place for us to organize our ideas.
We will be updating this page with sounds, words, images, and other findings as we find them.
